Why do you think so many people are depressed nowadays?

Bad diet, lack of sleep, stress, unrealistic expectations from the life (for example, they follow lavish, highly fake lifestyles on social media, or materialistic things without any real value), they don't pursue for certain goals in life, and so on.

Each case is particular, but generally speaking, at least one of the things mentioned above may contribute to the individual depression. Ofc, there are also medical cases, which I cannot talk about, because I am not a specialist.
 
Depression caused by external factors is just poverty, health problems and terror side effect.

Neurotransmitter imbalance is caused by lack of pills.

Sadness is not depression. If you are jealous, your emotions are temporary. That's not depression.

I think I have witnessed maybe 2 people who were truly depressed.
 
I'm wondering how people are confusing emotions so extreme you can barely move with bad diet and lack of exercise side effects.

Imagine someone comes to your house. They kill all your family members. How do you feel? These feelings are what depression is, but it's constant. And you don't know the reason.

This and for men I would add lower testosterone levels on average than the previous gen. Factors? Many! Bad diet, no excrcise, plastics etc etc.

People deprived themselves happiness comparing their lifestyle with people on media channels.

Oh my life is cooler than yours - Social Media.
 
Clinical depression cannot be caused by bad diet. What would that mean? Too much sodium? Too many carbs? Too much bacon? Or what? None of this is known to cause depression.

It cannot happen by high expectations neither. That's disappointment and it's a temporary feeling. Depressed people lose 10 or 20 years thinking what's wrong with them. It's not caused by instagram contrary to what you see on YouTube.
 
Because you need money & money & more money.
And then you still need money.
And when you think you have enough to fulfill your dreams you find a lot of time has passed.
Then you realise you again need more money.

I hate money yet I work like hell to earn more & more & more.........
 
Lack of sleep, or quality sleep should I saw is one of the main reasons.
Diet maybe, although leads more to anxiety rather than depression. There are a lot of ramifications here, the main one would be fixing the microbiome.
Cheapest way would be to eat A LOT of fermented foods.

A lot here means like really A LOT. If it's yogurt, it means 8-10 portions. Or one big big jar of sauerkraut everyday.

A low impression of the self always leads to some form of depression in the long run.

Not having enough dopamine is also a trigger.
If you take 10 depressed people and have them do HIIT for 25 minutes, at least 8 will report feeling way better.

Sometimes it's good to lie to yourself.
If you wake up in the morning feeling lousy and saying "another day, i have to do this, that, how will I manage", instead empower yourself even if it's lying. "Yeah, I have to do 10 things, I can do this, I always worked hard and fixed everything, I'm the man".

After a certain time, it sticks with your self.

Not having the right minerals in adequate proportions is also a concern.
If you went 2 years without enough magnesium, it takes about 4 weeks for levels in the brain to come back to normal.
This is why people sometimes report supplementing doesn't work.
 
Because People Don't Find Purpose In Life Anymore And Yes The Social Media Is A big Time In Manupliating them The Fake Has new trend and I feel sad for those that is why I only have a few friends that are more aware of thing in different levels of life they know how to make wealth and find balance in life.

To be a man takes failure rejection sacrifices hardships no man is born a man they become a man by going through hardships.
