Because unfortunately Paypal nowadays sees all non-physical products as illegit. And nowadays lots of buyers are now aware of this "loophole" and hence buyers will raise a chargeback even if the non-physical products they purchased has absolutely no issues, knowing very well that no matter what, Paypal will favor the buyers only. This is why most sellers of non-physical products nowadays do not accept Paypal, with exceptions being only when some level of trust has been established with a buyer.
In other words, sellers of non-physical products want to avoid getting mass scammed by buyers, so sellers of non-physical products have almost all stopped accepting Paypal.
May I ask @capitalist2022 : are you hesistant to pay by crypto ? If yes, then why ? Because, buyers of non-physical products nowadays are already open-minded towards paying with crypto and are already paying by crypto.

I personally refuse to deal with PayPal. I would never accept it for any service or item I was to sell. For me it’s the worst invention ever made and is full of scammers trying to purchase something and do a claim back. Had somebody steal my account and then I also had to pay the PayPal fees. So I basically payed somebody $1000 to rob me. Why would any seller ever want to put them self in that position for doing absolutely nothing wrong. This is why hardly anybody accepts PayPal

Bitcoin and most other crypto are refundable. If you have a refund that a seller has to give you, just simply provide your Bitcoin, etc receiving address to the seller and you'll get your refund if seller has to give you a refund.
Do not confuse a chargeback with a refund. A chargeback may or may not result in a refund. A refund is a refund, which is a return of money (or crypto) back to a buyer from the seller.
Next : "cryptocurrency is a nonrefundable payment gateway" : cryptocurrency is NOT a payment gateway, cryptocurrency is a mode of payment which can be direct or through a crypto paymant gateway.
Just like US Dollar is not a payment gateway, US Dollar is a mode of payment which can be direct or through a payment gateway.
Sorry to say, lots of people are still ignorant even about the very basics of cryptocurrency and that is why they are still skeptical.

Paypal loves to close accounts with money, this is not a safe way to sell online.

Also cryptocurrency give you security and avoid commisions as well.

Trust, reliability and fees.
Gaypal act like the bully as it has monopoly.

That doesn't mean that crypto is free of cons... but at least not as worst as gaypal.

Scammers cant claw back their money after you've delivered your product/service with crypto, but they can with PayPal. Also, all the other points in this thread make PayPal pretty trash to deal with these days. They are constantly adding new policies that hurt sellers. As a consumer/buyer though, Paypal is pretty good I guess lmao

All the mentioned above is correct, you are welcome to make a round in the shit list subforum and see how many buyers are doing chargebacks after receiving their order without any reason, or atleast a good one.

Been using PayPal and received like 10-15 random disputes / month.
(Buyers/scammers tend to abuse dispute button on paypal).

Migrate to Stripe, for 6 months I received only like 1 dispute. lmao
Thanks to TAC, and high risk credit card auto blocking features.

Currently I do accept crypto(stable coin).
USDT(erc20/bep20), USDC(erc20/bep20), and BUSD(erc/bep20).

Majority of my crypto buyers are using BUSD(bep20). The fee is almost non existence, and the value of the currency is stable too.. with no risk of my account getting block.

Crypto is the future!
