"deindexed" and "not in top 300" are not the same thing.
Type the url of your page in google to see if it's still indexed (or use site:URL).
Also, check webmaster tools if you are using it, and the links to your website.
You don't give us lots of informations so i'm just taking wild guesses here
Thanks for the hint.
when i do the site:URL search it appears in google,
when i check the links to the site in WMT it has only links from YT Vimeo yolasite quora myvidster mp3joly
so i guess safe links
how come it is for weeks on first page and then disappears??
Keyword density is less than 1%
Maybe your website needs some freshness ? When was the last update ?
Try to take a look at your links with other tools like ahrefs, Majestic and Moz Open site Explorer.
You had other rankings drop too, or was is only one term ?
For those that are wondering how to keep the ranking up, I have only one answer. Buy superior content to update your site on a daily basis.
Yeah Right...Because google algo can tell the difference between "quality content" and gibberish.
Same thing affecting me and others here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/792333-site-penalized-odd-signs.html
I too have some pages with zero backlinks that was on page 1 and 2 (due to auth of the domain) disappeared. I think its part of a larger update that started few days ago.
Build backlinks to your domain and pages. Also check majestic/ahrefs to see if some bad links might have popped up (Google WMT is a piece of crap that doesn't tell you anything).
Don't fret, just build quality backlinks
They are not deindexed, just deranked. Guess because of the ongoing update.
Separate names with a comma.
