I read through the Rules, FAQs, TOS, trying to find something regarding torrent files and there is no mention of them. I'm wondering why you guys use crappy sites as opposed to torrenting?

With torrents everyone can get for free and no worries of the files becoming unavailable, no long waits to download files or popup after popup infested sites.

Just curious, some unspoken rule here against torrents?

No my question was, instead of a rapidshare, file drop, media fire kind of site, if you are going to share, why not just create a torrent for it instead.

coz torrents requires somebody to be constantly seeding stuff....which is not necessary with rapidshare..

also, you willl need a private tracker in that case coz i dont think the kind of stuff available here should be shared on public trackers....

no rules against it, if you check the subforums, you can find one dedicated to torrents

Did you ever use a torrent tracker, im just curious...if yes then how could you wrote this bs, if there's no one seeding for example a few weeks/month old file, how the heck can you download that from the tracker? no long waits defo, if there aren't enough seeder or they are slow you have to wait long for the download, no popups, that's right, but in return you can easily download pretty viruses, spywares, malwares with your beloved torrents

@OP yes, a torrent would be a good idea along with mirrors or limewire share or something to the same effect

Either we create a private tracker (your username has to match your BHW name, and they track your upload/download and you get rep the more you seed) or we all start using a quality place like demonoid, and tag ourtorrents as BHW or something along those lines.

I'm not sure why people are talking about torrents having viruses....smaller percentage of viruses in torrents than in rapidshares.

Was just an idea. A private tracker would be nice to make sure files are always available and download speeds are good. And if you give rep/points for people to seed, that would give an incentive to make sure everything is always available.
