I agree with you 100%. Most of them look like sh*t but what amaze me even more is that people actually do buy the crap.

They do because the copy is probably good. Good copywriting can sell anything.

Just because a website looks good doesn't mean it converts. Most the people making them are probably marketers and don't have the skills to make a sexy website, but who cares? They make bucket loads of cash.

People who wants to promote there products cares. And becouse they are marketeers they should know that the look of a site is very importation.

Yes the sales copy sales but also the look of the overall site sales. Maybe if you are selling a arthritis medicine to a 75 year old women the look of the site won't matter, but selling fitness or anything similar that promotes beauty and fitness the site looks is important.

If you look at the most selling CB products have awesome site and strong affiliate support page. And 90% of the CB products are just crap as there sites.

CB landing pages look straight out of 2003.

If I ever landed on one I'd think it was a scam.

100%. Even from my testing, there are niches where my crappy LP's do WAY better than ones that are "aesthetically pleasing".

Let me tell you why the products sell even even though the site looks horrible :

    - Ignorants , yes ignorants and delusional people who think buying a product will solve the problem they are facing , a $47 book that they purchased on clickbank to them is like the savior ,but you know they won't do shit , they won't even read it lol and that's the funny part , I am sure that at the best they will read the first pages and once they won't find the secret formula , "fuck this , nothing interesting" .

-As bigballin mentioned above , regarding the fact that those sites look not that good everything , i mean every single details it's well-thought so it will push the visitors to Buying The Product , even the colors of the call to action button are well-thought, not to mention here the copywriting , it goes like :

Are you tired of being fat ? tired of being ugly , or maybe like : you never got pussy bro ?

those bastards will make you to purchase that fucking product , because they have " the secret formula " , think like that , once that's done , once they do convince the buyer that they indeed are in a position that needs CHANGE ,
the funny part begins at this point as the seller usually would list a lot of benefits of purchasing the product along with some fake testimonials but people are dumb and think those ones are real lol , they have a really really nice strategy ,

but heck forget about it , you should worry about bringing more visitors rather than judging on the quality of clickbank products websites ,

Good copy with a bad looking site will outperform a pro site with bad copy no problem.

Add to that if these bad pages have good copy email sequences, preselling it hard with good copy they will bank hard.

The biggest factor of all is if you can get the current top sellers in CB with huge lists to promote your product. That is the ticket. More about who you know than what you know.

I have to agree with pretty much all of the above.. Yes, to me the sites look like complete horse sh*t. BUT, they convert. At the end of the day that's the most important thing. Get targeted traffic to these 'sh*tty looking sites' and their copy and email sequences will do the rest.

You are 100% right. Professionals are always professional that could be eBook or website. Many CB offer not looks great yet.

I usually see two types; the ones that have full width themes with different sections of color and animations, and then the ones that look pre-2004 which are usually contain a box layout with lots of text, a few low res pictures, low res h-tags, and very boring shades of beige, red, or blue.

Im going to assume the latter puts more emphasis on the copy and gets the point across easier.

Yeah I was also wondering the same exact thing...and sometimes I wonder if they are making any sales due to their crappy looking website
