I never like to post when I can find the answer somewhere else, but now I am desperate.
The thing is that the PA of the www and non-www versions of my website are diferent in OSE.
I've already searched and it looks fine to me, but moz doesn't and it's really pissing me off as the version I chose as prefered is the lowest one.

What I am saying is that:
When I put my site in OSE the results are the following:
    www version:
    DA: 6 // PA: 1
    non-www verion:
    DA: 6 // PA: 21
In webmasters tools, I've added in a long time all of the versions, and set up the prefered to www, and I have 301 redirects from all of the non-www.
Also my htaccess is the following:
    Code:
    RewriteEngine on
    # ensure www.
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\. [NC]
    RewriteRule ^ https://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
But I see that moz points out that i should have an htaccess like this:
    Code:
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} *!^www*.seomoz\.org [NC]<br>
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.seomoz.org/$1 [L,R=301]

Should i change my htaccess or wait and let time and Google figure it out ?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers

PS:I am not using wordpress nor another common CMS and my server is apache

Because seomoz's crawlers haven't been able to crawl the same amount for either of your host names, which it considers a different "domain", thus you get a different 'domain' authority, which in practice doesn't really mean anything.

Thanks for the answer @bartosimpsonio , that means actually there is nothing wrong with it right?
I'll just wait and keep working and hope that gets fixed with time.

    Same thing happens on Majestic.
In theory www is a subdomain, so if you have your back-links pointing to non-www version of the domain name, then it will have better metrics. But since you actually redirected non-www to www version, then you should be fine.

Moz is slow with updates, i would check again when they update their databases next (July 24th)

If you made sure your 301 is fine and you checked you raw logs and didn't see anything broken, then yeah, forget about those metrics, they're only a rough estimate.

What does it matter what DA TF FFS OMG MEH LOL do you have? Will you get more traffic because of that? Will your keywords be higher? No.

Thanks for the answers, really helpful and I'll wait also for the 24th to see if something changed.

I feel the same way about this as you do, just wanted to know why they were different in the 2 versions.
I also checked and have different metrics you gave me from www to non-www:
    www version:
    OMG: 5 // LOL: 1 // MEH: 69
    non-www verion:
    OMG: 12 // LOL: 54 // MEH: 23
    Cheers mate =)

That's all based on what guys above me told you. You got more links pointing to one version or the other and Moz is not exactly too good in following redirects. Well, Moz is not good in anything, but that's another story.
