That's nearly 3x the R rate of flu.

That means if 100% vaccinated, it spreads 3x faster than the flu.

Conclusion? Flu spreads like crazy yearly, speed that up 3x. Covid ain't going anywhere.

At the rate it is mutating, it's only a matter of time until there's a more lethal variant

I wouldn't be surprised at all if there's another round of lockdowns in the future

As strange as it may sound, a more lethal variant could be better, if you see the big picture, because it would decrease the spread by killing the hosts.

Of course there will still be lockdowns. The virus isn't going anywhere on its own and since the vaccination rate almost nowhere will increase to the level, which would be needed to avoid further waves, lockdowns will happen as clockwork. Although the pandemic will become the pandemic of the unvaccinated/unprotected.

Nothing is free in what's left of this world. They'll indirectly tax you to recover the amount. And they'll recover double. It's also possible they're going to ask us to pay for the 'booster' shot out of our own pockets.
More variants on the way, more 'booster shots' on the way.
