Maybe its because it takes less than 60 secs to create a hubpages account or are you looking for 1000's of hubpages accounts?

no, i am not looking for accounts, but actual pages built with links etc, to maintain and grow etc.

nofollow links is probably the reason, but i am of the opinion that nofollow links are worth pursuing, especially from places like hubpages

I was doing this for a while on Fiverr and made a fair amount of money from it, but it got to the stage that people were wanting a lot more for the $5 than it was worth my time. If you get a score of over 85 then it'll be do follow. Having said that, HP itself can be a great little money maker. I've got a Hub just now that contains no outbound links and it's making double figures each day which isn't too bad for something that's just sitting there.

I remember SENuke would build hubpages automatically. Don't know about now though since I haven't used that program in years.

One thing I would say about HubPages is that you could use it as a parasite page for your item that you're selling by having a great hub written and then bombarding it with spam links. I've recently tried this and HP seems to tolerate the spam well. The upshot is, when you get visitors coming in, regardless if they click through to product etc you'll still get paid a revenue.

Well they bought out Squidoo, which tells me they either are getting bigger or the entire micro-blog bubble is bursting now. Which I think may be the case due to HORRIBLE content caused by too much auto-posted spam in poor english.

Hubpages are more professional and have more rules
I am wondering what they are going to do with newly acquired squidoo( which is much easier to use than hubpages)
