I have recently stumbled upon few squeeze pages and they are too huge, you have to scroll all the way down and become grey until you see "instant access" or "buy now" buttons. Why? I don't think that users are reading all through that stuff.. or they do ?

What's your screen resolution? It could easily be that you're using a large resolution whereas these squeeze pages have been optimised for a smaller one.

This is definitely not a good way to build squeeze pages.
I'm sure they need to check their visitors' on-page behavior and the bounce rate. Putting so much content on a page can hardly sell something.

It's a common tactic, basically you want to counter every single negative thought they are having and also build interest in the product.

My personal, non-professional opinion; Although to smart people these sales pages look dumb, stupid people buy from them like candy.

I think people get stuck on the WaFo and decide to straight up duplicate what others are doing. It's a giant circlejerk... you don't need to follow that exact template to presell your product, in fact, most products would probably have higher conversion rates with a page that is more built around that offer and not some long personal sales letter.

Every time I see a CB offer that has one of those I send the traffic to my own shorter and sweet lander instead and link to the shopping cart and get better conversions rates 99.99999% of the time.

Those are more like an infomercial page. Those are some seriously long landing pages.

    Probably.

these pages are normally lengthy. The only thing is, you should find "Paynow" or "Instant Access" button two or three time ...you should not wait to scroll till the bottom of the page to find it...
