Why are so many BHW "businessman" scared to talk on the phone/move off telegram? Why are people scared of the phone?

I have said this previously on this forum a call or a video call interview is the best way to filter out medicore quality services and/or unacceptable language skills.

This is mostly because they lack the actual skillset required for the job/gig and are either resellers or have half knowledge on the subject.

A small section of these people are actually scared to talk despite having a decent skillset.
It's just like those students who're scared and nervous of reading the news from the stage during the morning assembly in school.

Best way to weed out bullshitters is get them on the phone. So many guys type so well because they can research and think and look up templates but once you get them talking you realize how little they know.
 
It's not really a "business" forum. Most members are not businessmen. We are marketers who just like the easiest path to make a buck. Hitting $25k/day and not having to talk to anyone is bliss. Unless you're my lawyer or my CPA, I ain't turning off my music to answer the phone.

Invalid because you have an actual YouTube channel that is capable of selling to people by the masses. I'm still a caveman with only a phone. Soon I want to start doing live webinars or pre-recorded ones as well to qualify leads and sell to them automatically.

To do that though you still gotta be able to sell yourself with your voice. Point proven.

These are new fancy ways that will never get you sales,
You should follow the old-fashioned way, either by mail or meeting in person,
So, if you don't want to give me your address, you're not serious enough as a person to do business with :D
 
I dont know about you guys but generally if what your doing is illegal then i would want to avoid telephone calls because i dont even want to have to face a judge and try to convince them it isnt my voice on the tape. So yeah i prefer my anonymity. But then again i dont vendor on here so it isnt my f***ing issue i guess

That's not always possible if the distance is more or both are from different countries but a call or a video call meet is definitely an option in most cases.

But yes meeting in person does work better and opens multiple doors too.

You said it clearly for me, this is so me. I get what OP is saying, but I don't think he understand that some of us are just this way.

People have already come to terms with the fact that there business would benefit from talking more on the phone from this thread so it's not pointless.

What's pointless is your two replies. One sarcastic post and then another follow up post because the sarcasm was bad so you need to explain it to someone you confused. Niceeeee job!

I've read a bunch of replies from people who don't agree with me and I will clarify. These people don't need to talk on the phone...

1) If you are amazing at tech and that's all you want to do don't feel forced to be a salesperson. Find someone good.
2) If you sell illegal services... yeah pretty obvious don't talk on the phone.
3)If you're truly happy where you're at in your business (only you know this, it's easy to say you are on a forums so just really think)

Anyone who is in ecommerce/physical products or high ticket services needs to get on the phone or have someone who will. Nobody can argue with me about that.
 
I might get some hate for this but if you claim to be a business man but communicate only through BHW or telegram you're a complete joke.

BHW as I know is a marketing forum and not a sales forum. I would recommend becoming a door to door salesman if someone is really interested in wasting his or her time. Imagine being so deluded from reality...

It 100% could but I never post and don't really sell anything on there. At this point it's just social proof if I ever actually try to pitch something big. Channel has been around for years at this point.

Yeah it was pretty straight forward. You need to know how to sell yourself, your ideas, your business through your video to do YouTube videos, webinars, etc.

Why would I go door to door when I sell b2b services?

Also I send 400 cold emails a day, see who opens it a bunch or replies and call those people in addition to cold calling. I'm not doing this stuff like its the 90s I combine new tech and old tech and I guarantee my closing rate and sales are way better then anyone that's just blasting emails or running ads (for offers above $2k)

Are 4-5 figure commission checks a waste of time? Damn bro you must be really rich already.

Let me clarify again, if you're worth over a million or happy with your net worth this post isn't for you. Personally for me, I'm going to do everything I can to speak to as many prospects as I can. Unlike you I have dreams to chase.

Ok guys I'm not really a caveman. I've been messing around with Instantly for the past few months and did a few campaigns.

We got a bunch of new customers and vendors from this (probably around 10)

Want to know something funny though? Every single one of those transactions was agreed to on the phone and finalized on email.

Today I got 15 replies from sending 176, all mostly positive. All wanting to setup a PHONE CALL.

Low ticket offers, yeah don't get on the phone. If you're doing high ticket though ignore all the people who have given up on there dreams in this thread. The amount of them is alarming.

Emails I've noticed are drowned out for every 100 emails someone gets they maybe get 1 call if that. If 100 companies get an email from a SEO company (lets assume all with the same skills, offers, etc) and 1 of them calls and speaks to the owner. Who do you think is winning that business?
 
I'm okay to give a phone call if necessary even though I'm an introvert type of guy and my english is not fluent.

I often use discord or play games with a mic, this helps gradually reduce my anxiety when calling someone.
