Why are people so surprised that Bitcoin is crashing?

I think because they feel pain for their investments... If you are not in a long BTC position, these dumps will not hurt you so much

Nobody expected a straight blood bath like this one causing big VCS to be blown away , 2017 crash was never like this , it had bounces but this time it was worst .

I don't get it as well. Most of the time it's because people are new and suddenly see their portfolio go by -50% in a matter of weeks.

I'm not a know it all, don't get me wrong. But there was a huge distribution going on for months. It was only logical that there is a downtrend. And especially since the S&P500 and BTC seem to be connected ;-).
 
Those who understand the market are behaving normal. They know that these price movements are normal.
 
So many governments are waiting to crush bitcoin with their own digital currency as soon as they can launch one. For me I wouldnt think long term with bitcoin as there may not be one.
 
What I feel is when new people come in crypto they forget to understand basics of that because they came in Bull run people forget there always be bear market in after bull market

Also so called gurus which sells dreams to new people buy this buy this shitcoin and you become rich in 24 hours
