    Hey everyone,

I have had a few ezine articles and web 2.0 sites indexed and 4 of these are ranking in the top 20 for my keyword.

They have been in the top 20 for about 5 weeks now and all of them have my keyword term links to my site.

The problem is that when I check the backlinks to my site, it only shows 1 backlink from proppellor.

Why do the other links not show up and is there anything I can do to make them show up?

    Thanks for any advice

    Matt

EZA is do-follow by far so that is not the issue.

How did you "check" your links?

We can be more helpful if you tell how or which program you used in checking those links.

I checked it using market samuri rank checker and also the yahoo site explorer (which I think market samuri use anyway)

A couple of backlinks that I put on a few blogs have come up now but still none of the ezine articles or any of the other articles and web 2.0 sites that I have setup.

    Thanks

This is where the "issue" is exactly. Yahoo takes its sweet time with crawling and showing links so you just need to give the links more time to show. People get used to Google's immediate results and they forget that no all search engines work in the same manner. So sit tight and wait, the links will show up.

I agree it takes so long for backlinks to show us. Webmaster tools definately does not show all of your backlinks.

Brilliant, thanks for clearing that up.

If google have already indexed these links will they already be taken into account for my current position or would google still be waiting to see the links aswell as yahoo?
