Hey guys :) For a while now adsense is frustrating me . I got a site in the same niche as a friend and we both monetize with adsense. We have the same traffic source and sometimes the same exact people ..... he is earning 20-30 $ per day and i am earning 3-6 $ . And sometimes i have double the traffic he does . So just to experiment i made my site EXACTLY like his . Still the same result :(
Anyone has any idea why it is this way ? I don't think it would be because he's from US and im from EU . We get paid for the ads people click and they are 90 % from US .

my guess is that his adsense account is picking up on keywords that have higher paid ads linked to them if you get what i mean :)

Yeah i thought of that but i made it even with the same keyword . In short everything is EXACTLY the same . Even the traffic . That's why im so confused and frustrated on why the earnings are different :p

By traffic source I assume you mean google? Or are you talking about some traffic exchange? If the traffic you're referring to isn't organic then there's the issue right there. He may target a better suited audience which results in him receiving a higher conversion rate. That could be your problem.

Adsense pay rate depend on site CPC rate... not the high pay keywords.
