Why are blogs plus extremely popular websites stopping using images in their blog posts?

    Hi

    Why are blogs plus extremely popular websites stopping using images in their blog posts??

    I thought it was better to add them for SEO purposes?

    Certain marketing websites don't

    For mindbodygreen.com, I don't think it seems suitable to add a picture in the body. There are already images all around it. Besides, if you're popular like them, you can't just snatch an image from the Internet due to copyright laws. You either have to take them yourselves, or pay for them. So it's cost-efficient to have none.

    They are using pictures on the headers, right after the title. It's cost effective, plus too many pictures aren't required with their site, OP.

    I subscribe to alot of popular blogs and websites and haven't noticed this. I don't think it's an issue - images can only enhance a post.
