Why (and how) haven’t I found this community before?

Hi everyone. Great information consumed thus far and I've segmented some time over the coming weeks to get to grips with some aspects that baffle me still. (Very frustrating!) Although I'm determined to keep my stupid questions to a minimum.

A lot of these methods are new to me, and whilst I'm not a complete beginner, I'm from a more specific profession so I'm not sure how much value I'll add to the forums. I will try to contribute when I have relevant information but only when it's of assistance - I just don't think that will be very often for the foreseeable.

What drew me here (although, I'm certain I must have been here before) is my current position. I've used Fiverr, PPH and Freelancer from time to time with varying success and I've also had some bad experiences so I tend to do things myself whenever possible but work, life and family commitments don't always allow so things have lapsed with . I have one particular site (plus a prominent feeder which previously belonged to the UK industry leader (as a main domain) which they somehow ??let lapse??) which ranks within a high value marketplace, and has specific prominence within the top ten for all keywords concerning a specific provider within that industry for which this site (or company that represents it) is a main reseller for. The site has been subject to some negative SEO attacks from competitors I know these prominent positions are being threatened. The site should also be ranking far far better for other high value keywords within the same industry but my attention over the last 8 months have been focused on other projects. This is now complete and my focus is now on securing this sites position, whilst robustly setting up a framework of other sites to have much more influence within this marketplaces search results.

There are a few other sites with prominent names within this sector which have not been marketed at all apart from some basic onsite stuff and a plugin.

I will be utilising some of the freelance services in the marketplace as I need to redevelop the main site (as it's not even responsive?!) amongst some services to assist in achieving what I've already mentioned. I just need to understand it a few aspects before I decide the best course of action and this is the reason I'm here!

Once again, it's really great to be here, with particular thanks to some of the contributors who've put together the detailed 'how to guides'. They helped me get a starting point with a few questions I had, although, it's raised more options, and, more questions! Arrrgh!!

It's just which way to jump from here? But, with the information and resources on BHW, I feel a step closer to completing my goal.

    Be Lucky.

Just remember. Never give your site to anyone on here and never buy links to your money site directly from this forum.

If you're buying content, always run it through copyscape before posting... Not joking.

Thanks for the heads up Divination. Like to think I'm a bit smarter than the average bear but I got distraction robbed at a cash point the other day by two girls!

Maybe not as smart as I like to think!
