Why am I not ranking for my main keyword. When I am doing pretty well overall...

By doing pretty well overall I mean I am one of the top 30-40 websites in a given porn niche. I have around 250 000 organic unique visitors a month and I am getting some good income.

The problem is I see far worse sites ranking over me for my main keyword, the one I have work the hardest to rank for and it seems I can not do anything at all.

Also I have seen a drop of 800 000 in ahrefs ranking and I have no clue why ( not that I see any drop in traffic from google ) .

If someone is willing to help a brother out comment or message me and I will give far more details.

If your main KW targets the homepage, that might be the problem. Pages rank a lot faster and better in my experience.

I hear you, but as far as I see my competition is ranking mainly for their homepage for the same keyword. If you have experience can you take a look?
