I've been getting some strange feelings for last couple of days :p
I do want to work, but when I start working, I simply put my ass back and say, "Heck, WTF this is not gonna work? I'm not gonna work and listen to music all day" :(

I've tried a lot of things and never got desired results. SEO is my thing, I've helped many people get great rankings but not sure why Google screws me by not giving me what I deserve. I jumped into youtube and this thread was my inspiration: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/296254-200-day-journey.html? That guys is doing great by simple uploading videos and not even promoting them. I used YTA to upload hundred of videos and only 1 click was all I got. And I believe I did it better than that guy. I'm really really frustrated :(

Not sure whats going on with my f***in' mind but really frustrated? I took a break yesterday, whole day. Went to beach with friends, had a dinner with my loving family. Played tennis with my younger brother. But not sure why this world is looking gloomy and am feeling disappointed??? Am I gonna .... ? ? ?

Stupid post eh? Don't reply and move on :)

It's the season and this is quite common. This time of the year, you will have to turn into a rabbit and eat greenies like crazy or you can ask your pharmacist to give you something. I took some amino thingy ampoules and my energy levels went up and I'm feeling great; don't take vitamin supplements though

I am in the exact same boat as you. For the last 4 months Ive been working pretty hard 3-4 nights a week. Im not really seeing the results I would of liked to seen by now and simply can not make more than $200 bucks a month. Ive took a little break, I havn't done a single thing IM related is almost 2 weeks now.

Hopefully its the right thing to do, get my mind off it for awhile and then Im gonna hit it again come monday. Does anyone else take a little break like this?

Make more money.

Disregard females, acquire currency.

Females = no no (Never felt for a girl lol)

Making Money, however, screws me. I think its natural when you work your ass off, work in a better way than others, put everything you have into a project and don't get the results.

And for dgftalk, I would be happy even if I make half of what you're making i.e. $100 a month as it will cover my ass for college and stuff.

how hard and how well you work .. is just something you assume ... whether if it's the truth or not ... only you can decide ... but if you're going to settle with I've worked harder and smarter then everyone else ... you're done ... cause apparently .. being the hardest and smartest worker hasn't gotten you anywhere ... worse thing about all this is that you've already limited yourself to the amount of energy you put into something and the amount of smarts you're using ... and -----> "I used YTA to upload hundred of videos and only 1 click was all I got" .... this is the best you'll ever do ... 1 click

Sounds harsh .. but yeah has to be sad ..

+1 for you.
But when i say, i've worked harder and better than others, i've put myself completely unbiased.

YOU HAVE BURNT OUT...

INTERNET MARKETING BURNED YOU OUT..

you need a break... a week completely off...
to reset... to reboot...
to come back like a predator.... not a victim...

Go rest great warrior.... for next week we shall battle once more....

To OP:

Its a long ass lonely journey, I have been there, just do something to treat your self (pig out... do some shopping, eat nice food, what ever) then get back to work, you will be fine. Just remember this is not a race... its a marathon. Pace yourself.
That video had some effect, I'm feelin it :p
+1 rep for ya!

You say you have done it better then the other guy....

Ask him to have a look at your videos, he can tell you if your titles, your videos, etc. is better than his or where your going wrong (and thinking its better). But obviously you have to make it worth his while somehow.
:knockedou :beerchug: :typing:

You have a massive entitlement complex and ego that you need to take down a notch. It's littered throughout you're writing:

No, you didn't "work in a better way than others". If you did, then you would have seen positive results.

Google doesn't owe you shit.

That guys is doing great by simple uploading videos and not even promoting them. I used YTA to upload hundred of videos and only 1 click was all I got. And I believe I did it better than that guy.

If you "did it better", then you would have got more than one click.

I'm sorry if this was too harsh, but it is the source of your unhappiness. You act like Google and the world owes you something, and when you don't get it, you give up instead of learning from your mistakes and trying again. It's okay to be frustrated with something that doesn't work, but blaming Google and insisting that you're better when the results show otherwise is unproductive and not going to help you. If you seriously want your "desired results", then you should be asking yourself, "What did I do wrong, what can I learn from this, and how can I fix this?" like an adult instead of whining to BHW like a child about how you're so much better than the guy in the Youtube thread.

get rid of your headphones and Facebook account. I noticed a big increase in my productivity after I did this.

so basically your saying you can rank website but your not making money? that doesn't add up. Keyword research + monetization method + website and then ranking = money

How do you know when you are successful online?

Thomas Edison could not have invented the light bulb if he give up after 9000 failures.

When Thomas Edison was interviewed by a young reporter who boldly asked Mr. Edison if he felt like a failure and if he thought he should just give up by now. Perplexed, Edison replied, "Young man, why would I feel like a failure? And why would I ever give up? I now know definitively over 9,000 ways that an electric light bulb will not work. Success is almost in my grasp." And shortly after that, and over 10,000 attempts, Edison invented the light bulb.

No it wasn't hard. Even if it were, it is so true that you deserve a thanks and a +rep, sir :)

Yessir! I haz did it!

Whoa, I gotta get some pen and notebook and write down those thousand ways of not being successful and then avoid all those :)

Thanks everybody, I feel much better and lighter now. I'll be back rocking within a day ;)

Cheers.

Dude, no offence but $100 a month? That's lame. If this is your goal then you shouldn't be in IM in the first place. Look out for a part time job, I am sure you will make that much at least. It seems like you work alone and are also pretty young. I think you would be better off going out and doing something which involves more socialization.

But if IM is what you want to do them please raise the bar and aim higher- something like $50 a day to start with.

Thanks and no $100 a month is not my aim. I said that even if i could make $100 a month, that would keep me motivated, not that I will be content and then just sit back and enjoy my $100 a month lol :)

Cheers.
