When I build a new site (mostly micro niche sites) I always choose a nice looking theme and hire writers to populate my blog with high quality content. I place adsense/clickbank products in good positions (from my point of view), build some backlinks and hit the first 5 ranking in G, I receive 200-300 uniques/day BUT the conversion is never more than 1%

I was sure that I'm doing something wrong, but didn't know what is it?

Yesterday I was sleeping on my bed when it hits me, Why am I building website?

With that question asked I realized what was I am doing wrong, I'm always providing the most relevant content/answers/how to for my visitors, which make them stay longer on my website and probably visit several pages but as they find what they are looking for I am decreasing the chances of the visitor click on advertisement.

If the visitor already found what he/she wants why would they keep looking:rolleyes:

That's How I decided to think of my website on a different way!

I'm changing how I see my websites, my content should be high quality but not answer all of my visitors questions, they should read my website but still look for more info, that way they will click some ads or buy a clickbank product

I know this is not rocket science, but some may have the same problem and I thought this might help them

When you think you are doing everything right and the results are not there this kind of taking a step back and looking at the whole situation is the proper course of action. Good job man.

Your site should be about convincing them why they need to buy product X... Provide info that says they should buy product X... If you have to use informational content as a means to get traffic, then those pages need to funnel that traffic to your promotional pages. You have to "Always Be Selling".. You have to look at every page on your site with that in mind.
