Who's using just deleted domains these days for their pbns? And are you still seeing results?

Thanks! :-)

By deleted domains do you mean expired? I've been curious if expired domains would be a viable way of a building a pbn. I've had others tell me that only auctioned domains are worth it, but it seems like surely some expired slip under the radar, right?

I have built plenty of PBNs with expired domains. Just publish a few articles and let it index before linking to your money site. Sending a few tier 2 backlinks to the PBN helps too. Google still sees all the previous backlinks and will display them in GSC, yes I have a few of my PBN's with their own GSC.

Just to confirm those are domains you purchased as if it was a new domain just through the normal process as opposed to auctioned domains?

Expired domains I found with decent backlinks. These were not auction domains or dropped domains.

I am. And I see good results. They are expired - not from auctions.

Main thing is to dig about domain before you will buy it.

Thanks guys, how long are you waiting before you link out after you've added content? If you do wait at all.

If they are clean and you can make them related it should be no problem. Best is to link out after 2 months. Just link to some authority sites first.

One month after mostly.

Sometimes faster.

Allways put one kw (long tail) and track serps ( look what's going on with domain)

Expired domains work is fine for me . And also it give good results mate

It varies, a month maybe two or three. You definitely don't want to rush it, especially if you are changing niches.

Yes I use it. it gave me good results.
Before buying check with these:
Check DA/PA of domain before buying.
Get to know PageRank.
Determine whether the expired domain had a spam.
Check Google AdSense ban.

@op From my observations if the domain is still indexed - you can link straight away from day one. If is not - then, just to be safe, wait at least a month AFTER the PBN get into the index again.

Pagerank is not updated for the past couple of years at least - Google doesnt share that info with the public anymore. So no, you cannot "get to know pagerank".
There is NO WAY to find if if the domain have manual penalty before actually registering the domain. Not anymore at least. All those "tools" gave pretty much random results or straight out doesnt work.
DA/PA or any other metrics are only good to sort thousands of domains. Otherwise you want to look at the links, not metrics.

Sorry for asking stupid question, if GSC means Google search console?

All my PBN's are expired domains which I register as new.

I simply build the content back out from archive.org, and as soon as I see a couple of old KW's rank again, I link to my money site. Time wise, this depends on Google, but I have found that I can usually push things along if I resubmit the old backlinks via Speed Links. The quicker Google picks them up, the sooner I can get the old content going again.

I do exactly the same when I want to use an expired domain for a new money site.
