I know the lounge has a long reputation of desperate and pathetic questions but this is the best I could come up with.

Ok seriously. I heard about this app Lulu last week when someone on campus was interviewing guys about what we thought.

So if you haven't heard about it, it's an app that appears to have been around for quite a while now. You profile is created without your permission (I have no idea how!) and then girls just favorite and check you out and who knows what else. Guys can sign on and check how many girls checked them out.

So who knows how this thing works? Has anyone else logged on? Do you know any girls using it? Are all the people who favorite/like someone your Facebook friends or are they randoms?

The company has also been accused of inappropriate use of Facebook accounts' user data. Lulu does not query male Facebook users for their consent in integrating their profiles in the app, and at the time of its release the product caused notable social "recoil"[SUP][14][/SUP] and received significant negative coverage in the press for its violation of Facebook's policies on the use of user data.[SUP][15][/SUP] The company notes that its data collection policies are now in compliance with Facebook's Platform Policies,[SUP][15][/SUP] and points out how Facebook users who have unwittingly been incorporated into Lulu's databases may petition the site for the removal of their personal data.[SUP][3][/SUP]

I know, it's the perfect app discussion for a black hat community. I don't mind I'm on the site. I think it'd be cool to know the names of the 57 or whatever people checked me out. That'd be amusing.

They used to allow men to see their score if they invited 20 friends. Hows that for a viral campaign? To start, they targeted the 'Campus Queens' at colleges.
