Who pays for targeted traffic because the seller says it's targeted?

Is there anything funnier than somebody telling you that they can send you "targeted" traffic or "targeted" emails before they even know what your niche is. I dad somebody tell me to pay $200 for 1000 "targeted" live clicks on my site. No explanations - just the price. Buying services that are "targeted" (according to the seller of the services) has got to be the biggest joke in IM-ing!

I admit I'm desperate for traffic to my site, but I haven't sank to "stupid" yet. Anybody ever get scammed with targeted traffic before?

just a guess: you paid money - waited a few days - nothing happened - waited some more - nothing happened - you go into denial that you lost your money - nothing happened - now you are a lot less trusting and a lot more careful

Its just common sense that people lack. You can't expect too many conversions when you buy that sorta traffic, fairly obvious.
