    As the title suggests.

I was reading a thread about a guys network of sites getting deindexed and it got me thinking!! who actually owns a site that would pass a manual review from the big gizzle? im not soo much talking about off page factors more the onpage.

    as in.

Does it provide value to the visitor
Is the content not only unique but well researched and of value
Is it a well designed site
    speed of loading

    Poll included.

I believe most of my sites offer value and unique content, the ones that dont, I know they dont and I am ok with it.

My mantra is on site white hat, off site black hat.

This way if google decided to look me over, they will see a good site.

i think it has more to do with status than anything. even if we have a website with zero problems, they could deindex it and there would be no consequences for them. what could we do? complain? that's about it. if a major company didn't follow the rules they wouldn't penalize or deindex them that's for sure.

i think this kind of behavior is evident in more than just rankings. look at their adsense program. if a competitor maliciously spam clicks your adsense ads google will have zero problems with banning your account. they wouldn't do that to someone big. just imagine how many times ezine or some other website has been spam clicked.

i honestly believe google employees ban/suspend at a whim or for personal gain on top of doing the job they were hired to do

I agree!! but when people have shit sites with 3 readable unique articles that are on the subject "dog food savings coupon" with a KW density of anything above 1% google is right to fuck with them!! there just created to target keywords and rank like the old auto site creators when adsense was first launched.

Google just gets more clever as the years go by our job is to adapt. I abandoned building any more micro niche site to build a single authority site im talking thousands of pages of unique content, massive social integration and a shit load of returning regular visitors. this is me moving with the times........

I have great affiliate sites and others that would pass an inspection of the google police no problem. My content ranks pretty well also without many backlinks for medium to low comp keywords.

I got in to this game doing article marketing at first though so I know what google likes .

Now when it comes to my tier 2 links it starts getting a little grey with a tendency to get very black after that ;)

Sure my sites have plenty of value. Provide a real service, and are pretty much scam free. No manipulation whatsoever... mind you, I'm not making much money though. haha.

I do however have a few domains that I plan to experiment with "shadier tactics". I'm still really new to this whole game.
