Who knows how to change the preview image of an embedded YouTube file...?

    So, when you embed a YouTube video on your site, the image it shows is often not very visually appealing.

    and there are various ways of changing the image that the video is displaying.

    e.g. one way is to just put a DIV over it and fill the DIV with a JPEG. I like this method, but when you click the DIV, the player doesn't start.

    but, anyone know the best way to do this?

    maybe using the YouTube API?
