Who in your opinion deserves a read. Whose products do you always look forward to ?
Don't trust anyone...except ur brain ofcourse...
Guru's just get ur basics right, rest it all up to u.
try reading "BS your way to riches" and you'll get a clearer perspective to these so-called gurus.
I agree with that as well......
I always find Frank Kern's mass control stuff interesting (I love pschology )
I wouldn't buy anything from the other guru's though.
Dan Kennedy and Jay Abraham. Get your hands on their stuff and you'll know everything you need to know about marketing.
As for the younger guys, you can't go wrong with Russel Branson, Ryan Deiss, and Matt Bacak.
Anything i can get my hands on..if its shit i stop reading
if its good i learn i read over and over and try the methods
Some times the purists that i considered genius get weaker
And some weaker guys that are not purists might ocasionally say something that can benefit me.
Some guys always bring out crap..and u simply unsubscribe
Also i like al the guy,s that sell courses and make 7 figure,s doing so..
wether their course make u the same amount they make depends on many factors.
in most cases not
But at the same time they are making shit loads of cash..so if you copy their tactics in selling ppl courses and ebooks..
U can learn a lot from that if you pay close atention
I read stuff from gurus who've had major success in other niche markets besides internet marketing/make money online niche. The reason being is that these are the marketers who know how to actually built businesses and mass market niche sites that can be sold to big name Fortune companies. These guys include Mark Ling, Jeff Johnson, Eben Pagan, Chris Rempel, and the late Corey Rudl. Mark Ling was making a very high six figure income way before he got into the internet marketing area with Affiliorama. Eben Pagan built multiple multimillion dollar companies starting with the dating niche as an "modern information guru" before he started doing high end coaching programs like Guru Mastermind and Get Altitude. Corey Rudl was a master marketer, considered to one of the "founding fathers" of e-mail and internet marketing and applied the techniques to other niche markets.
A lot of the big name gurus like Mike Filsaime, Ewen Chia, Frank Kern, Yaro Starak, Howie Schwarz, Shoe Money, John Chow, John Reese, etc. have never made big money outside of the internet marketing niche. What do these guys have to show for outside of selling the dream to newbs who've never set up a website in their life? Their "make money online" businesses don't run by themselves if they stop working.
Then there are also the under-the-radar guys who make big money but don't promote themselves because they are not heavily invested in the make money online niche. These are guys like Grizzly, Courtney Tuttle, Vic Franqui. These guys are pulling 300, 400, 500k plus a year with white hat projects and most of you have never even heard of them. You also have a couple of VIP guys here on BHW making high six figure incomes on automated e-whoring and other blackhat projects without revealing the real secrets. That's because these guys know the competition is small, once you know what you're doing.
I also question a lot of the techniques from direct response marketers and copywriters like Jay Abraham and Dan Kennedy. They don't always practice what they preach. Rather, you should pay attention what they do. These people are really master communicators who've built their businesses on branding. They're rich not because of their techniques or strategies in their products. They're rich because of their name. They've become expert marketers and communicators rather than an expert in their niche.
thanks everyone, I am off to reading everything I find
I think you should also read Perry Belcher. He is now preaching what he 'practiced'. Really awesome info.
I prefer reading at BHW...I got myself earning $20 a day from one of the post here...Im still experimenting the others and trying some ways to further improve what's been shared...
Rempel's stuff is very good, though he makes stuff seem a little easier that it really is.
I think he gets traffic because he spends a ton on linkbuilding, but his writing indicates that he really does care about his users
ME,ME,ME! IM THE BEST IM GURU IN THE WORLD...
Actually I Hope To Make A Couple Cool Products This Year (NOT RE-HASH, PRETTY UNIQUE) one being About Aff. Marketing and the Other being Graphics Product
I only learn from frank kern, John reese and eben pagan
Anyone who sells products isnt a guru, they are just filling your head with shit.
If there ideas worked they would be secret.
These fake gurus if they made the money they said would give content away free.
Also they only make there money selling you shit, so dont believe it next time.
Ebooks are a waste of cash in my honest opinion
i reckon the stompernet guys churn out a lot of good info, it is obviously extremely well marketed as well but they do have sucess outside of the IM niche too
don't trust any gurus..fuck them..they only sell basics..well,there's a few that is respectable out there..
learn from here, there a lot of stuffs and info here..
last 2 weeks i only have $4 in my paypal..today, i have near $300..thanks to bhw
btw, i spent a lot of money before i found this forum..none of them making me money, not anymore..bcoz now, i spent less money and makes more..
"gurus" distort the views, patience and diligence it takes to become successful
they write blog posts, eshitbooks, and other garbage to make it sound like they got rich by doing easy shit that anyone can do, and you need to "get out there and do it right now, so you can quit 9-5 in 1 week, 3days"
it makes people who are trying to get in or are in the scene have huge dreams of success, then when failure hits, they lose confidence and feel like they can't ever get it right. starting off lost and confused can be a means to failure
don't read any of their stuff really, come here find interesting concepts of what works and what doesn't, and start thinking
gurus don't sell unique ideas, there's a reason your reading it, it's because it prolly (at least the way it was originally designed) doesn't work anymore and they want to make money of the dazed and confused who want the dream
After reading all the craps by "gurus" I have to say that they do provide good value for newbies or probably just-started internet marketer, for the more advance marketers they are mostly perceived as "BS". 95% don't apply what they read while the other 5% take action. just keep doing what you know, and stick to it until success is met or else you will be hopping around at nothing. my conclusion: experience is your best teacher.
gauher chaudry's ppc and ppv courses are the most to the point and potent materials out there
nobody is going to share exactly what they do and that would be stupid
but gauher and howie's materials when used in a creative and unique manner imo can provide the best results
