I am in Korea. If you have a BA degree you can come here to teach English to kids. Visa is handled by your employer.

It's far easier to emmigrate to Japan than to South Korea.
Both countries are amazing with a great cultural heritage, low crime rates, great livestyle, both countries have great landscapes (Japan probably beats South Korea on this one), both countries have great beaches, girls, and the best of it all is that it's 1 hour by plane to travel back and forth from both countries.

English works a little bit in south korea, and if you don't know a good deal of japanese while in japan, you are dead

Japanese is far easier to learn that Korean, my opinion at least.

did you talk to the consulate? What are they saying? I remember some time back a friend of mine got in with a tourist visa, stayed there for about 90 days, found a guy, got into some arrangement with him to get an employee status, and he is still there now. guess you could give that a shot. find someone and tell him that you need an employee status, pay him the money that he wants to pay you, and live happily ever after
