For those of you that have, any advice on conversions and what makes a killer ad for you on YouTube? How many views were you able to get for what kind of ad, and how many views per dollar were you able to get it to?

    Thanks in advance.

Just stats from when I used it; never found it too useful. Stick to just the thumbnail ads if you're gonna use it though. The pre-roll video ads are a waste of money.

    Budget - £2 a day.

    Impressions
    Thumbnail - 16,577
    Video - 6,044

    Views - 1,213

Avg. Cost Per View - £0.01

    Total Cost - 12.59

On some of my videos in the past, i've spent a fortune getting the adwords to actually pay off. For months I spent about $500/month on afew videos that would convert at .06-.08 cents per view but my traffic was VERY targeted and if you think its a steal, its not. My suggestion is if you have a good video and some monthly revenue, its good. Otherwise, it is a waste of money. In my case, i was already making some money so I re-invested it in an adwords campaign and it paid off only after some months went by.
