Let's end the topic today, Is cold emailing something that really works or just a hoax of the market? I want to know if someone had done cold emailing and had success. I don't think someone will even pickup the email. what products had they promoted and what platforms they used + how they out sources the emails?

It's a bad activity that I wouldn't suggest anyone to get into. Nobody wants to receive mails trying to sell them stuff. Yes, it may still work for some people, if they're really, really, really good at it, and also a bit lucky, but it will be a waste of time for most. Besides, it's illegal in most countries. You should always try to make money with something that is driven by legitimate skills that are scalable, sustainable and can continued to be applied in different areas through the years, as well as used to create a real business. Spamming people is not really a way of life, unless you are absolutely desperate and don't know how to do anything else.

absolutely can't stand anything that begins with cold. Better off just spending the money necessary to obtain a warm market that you can eventually email to. Preferably by creating a funnel of people who have already purchased your product or type of product. Using social platforms to manipulate the algorithm in your favor and gain true warm leads. We are in a tiktok drivin' world right now where it is the dominant platform for advertising any product or service. Pay influencers to promote your services for you and let the influencers guide them to your email list for you, thus creating a warm market to email to. No one opens emails from people they just don't know. And even if they do open them, they will pay it no mind. Waste of time going the cold approach unless you're just doing it for reasons other than money.

not worth it man at al just dont waste the time do somehing esle anythign your better off talking one on one to some customers .

Totally random. Then no. Preferably, emails need to be generated from various funnels to at least have a chance of being opened. Even at that, the success rate is extremely low. You'll have to send out tens of thousands of emails to get a somewhat worthwhile number of responses back. Out of those, you'll lose even more who are interested in the product/service - just not yours, or your approach, or prices, etc.

It's just a numbers game and comes down to how much time and effort you want to invest in it. If you're selling a low end product or service, probably not worthwhile at all unless you can specifically target a demographic.

There a fine line between cold emailing and spamming. Cold email is 100% legitimate, legal (if you're compliant) and works. Plenty of fortune 500 companies rely on cold emails/calls for sales. It's not unheard of to close 6 figure deals from a cold approach, but it's a little more complex than sending one message and waiting for a sale.

Spam on the other hand is 100% illegal but can work, although with a far lower ROI. IMO not something I'd recommend getting into.

If you dig around the forum, you'll find some good information on cold emailing here. I'm talking about threads from years ago, that don't never got much traction. I'd use Goolge site:blackhatworld.com {your keyword} and sift through information over the next few days. Once you start picking up on it, change you keyword with cold emailing terminology to see if anyone posted anything interested. Look at the comments too, not just the threads.

The guys at https://twitter.com/blackhatwizardd do offer some good free information too. Check out their Youtube as well for some good starting points. They're kinda moving towards the "guru" approach, but I can verify they 100% know what they're talking about. You really don't need to pay for any of their ebooks. Their free content + BHW should be more than what you need to get a head start.

Cold email has three core fundamentals, and to make it work, you need to focus on the following:

- Right Prospecting
- Right copy
- The right offer

If you mess up any of these, your cold email campaigns will fail.

Just like you can't drive a car without a transmission, gas, engine or tires, you can't get the right results without any of the above.

I tried it and sent hundreds of emails to prospective clients but never succeeded. I wonder what is the secret sauce involved. If someone sheds light on this I would be grateful.

I got a $ in sale with 50 emails of collection. I never tried after that as getting highly targeted emails is next to impossible.

i dont think its a very effective way of getting new clients tbh

It's interesting that there are such mixed reviews. It seems like cold emailing is just the beginning of the sales process and if you don't have the funnel right or know what your target audience really wants you will never get them to respond. I say try it for yourself and see what it yields. Just my thoughts.

I'd rather pick up the phone and cold call them.

Absolutely awful take. Influencer marketing doesn’t work for performance marketing. It never has and it performs worse than literally anything else. Any ad ever served is “cold” by definition and those work great. Dude sounds salty af probably a total failure.
