most of my sites fell in rankings. google did a new update. who else had drop in rankings?
One of my sites did. From number 2 to 12. And secondary keywords dropped to page 3. Could also be a dance since i currently build around 200-300 links every day. But i kinda doubt.
I should launch a new site like downforeveryoneorjustme.com but for blackhat purposes, like : droppedforeveryoneorjustme.com
Serps are changed each second guys, if most of your sites dropped in ranking, it may mean 3 things:
1. They were on the same IP and google slapped them.
2. You have linked them altogether and google found that and slapped them again.
2. You just need more backlinks and more unique content.
Can't say that I've had the same experience.
One of my sites is slowly cracking the top 5 and the other one just finished the dance that lasted a few days - from #4 to #399 and this morning #3.
One of my sites dropped to #2 after being steadily at #1 for months. Damn it, thought I could go full auto.
I see some drops and believe it was an update. Anyway, at least from what I see the sites that get in front of me are in most cases rubbish and not relevant. So being like that, you can be 100% sure that in maximum of 2-3 days this update will be taken back, like always when the results are not good. That's the way Ggl does it. So just calm down and wait few days
What do you gus think, is it a Panda or an Algo update?
One of my site also dropped last month.. But Now its recovering because of my new strategy ..
I got hit by the -50 google penalty. I opened a thread with this.
Google announced a update on twitter yesterday, I was affected also, don't have a clue why though!

Are you working for Google?
Because me too, I have been hit by the red POD / -65 on the first 15 K+(2) and on the 34 to 47 K+(3)... But for those last, I recognize I was cheating.
I didn't opened a thread because it was too obvious for everyone...
I'm seeing a mixed bunch of results in from google.co.uk. Sites which have been in the 1st position for years, extensive backlink profile and EMD domains too for some pretty big words have dropped several positions, and on some keywords, wikipedia pages are ranking 1st, compared to ecommerce sites which optimise for the keywords.
One of my sites has taken a bit of a drop all of a sudden at the same time the results changed, like always though, I anticipate a review of the results and things to return back to normal-ish soon.
Hopefully. The update seems to have messed up a lot of relevant results as I see it.
Got same problem.. Was happy to start with adsense and i instantly saw greate results, but the truth is, this can not be fully automated and will always need some (less or more) attention.
