Okay since I'm new here I though I'd share one of my methods with you to build my reputation a bit. I'm not entirely sure if this method has been posted on here before, so please don't flame me if it has.
This method is entirely whitehat, and I actually got it off a friend of mine who said he's making about $150 a day from it and like I said I don't know where he got it from so it may not be unique, but fortunately its something that doesn't get saturated.
This is to do with non-online marketing of your website to promote dating offers. This will work best if you live in a populated area, a city in particular.
Okay here it goes:
First off you need a and have signed up to a good affiliate network that has one-page dating offers (neverblue or copeac etc).
Now go and buy a domain that is dating related, make sure you get a .com one as its important that its memorable. (This coupon: OYH3 will get you ones for $7.49 at GoDaddy).
Now make a sub-domain for this domain using the city you live in, or the zipcode for the subdomain. e.g NY.LOCALDATEZ.COM OR 11377.LOCALDATEZ.COM or WOODSIDE.LOCALDATEZ.COM etc and redirect this straight to a one-page dating offer.
Dating offers pay extremely well, start off with free ones first; many of which pay about $4.50 just for a name, age and email (one-page submits).
Next up is making a sign or banner, either use word, or photoshop (if you can be bothered) and create a large, bold, font and have something like:
"MEET LOCAL SINGLES FREE WITH ZIPCODE.YOURWEBSITE.COM"
Print a few off on some nice looking paper and then get it laminated.
Now attach your sign to a sign post and put them in busy places where lots of people will see - e.g. intersection or busy sidewalk etc.
And now wait for the money to start rolling in. Create more subdomain for different areas and create larger signs etc once you've made some $$$. In total this method will cost you about $20 (domain, sign and petrol)
To start with I though it was a stupid idea, but I've seen it in action and believe me it works, a lot of people often forget the powers of offline internet marketing
But just look at the logic ---> Thousands of People See Your Sign Each Day ---> Of Which 100 Visit Your Site ---> About One in 5 Converts ---> 20 x $4.50 (for each offer) = $90 Just From 2-3 Signs Per Day.
- Of the people that visit your site if they actually bothered visiting it there's a good chance they will fill out the first page of an offer, so often the conversion rate is much higher than 20%
Try this with just a few signs, and if you have great success stamp them all around the place, and pretty soon you'll see some major cash coming you way.
Obviously this one does require a little bit of work and it may seem like a strange idea, but if you're willing to put in a little time I can assure you it's very profitable.
