I have been spending a lot of time on this forum since I joined at the beginning of October, I have seen a lot of very useful posts with intelligent money making ideas as well as a lot of interesting software, what I have not seen is a schedule or a plan. Let me elaborate, a lot of us spend a lot of time trying to find marketing nirvana and get lost and maybe even addicted to this enormous amount of information that we have at our disposal. Wouldn't it make sense to publish a plan like a schedule where you would put down the maximum amount of time you spend on each step:

1. research forums - 2 days
2. decide what you want to promote - 2 days
3. make a plan that says what tools you will use - 1 day
4. build site and install all tools - 3 days max
5. write content - 2 hours a day
6. promote content - 2 hours a day

Does this make sense or am i the only one that is overwhelmed by the amount of information?

your process is correct. I think it is more about 'what' your plan is. Usually it breaks down into finding / tapping a traffic source and monetizing that traffic. Both can get infinitely clever and complex. But other than that, you are on the right track.

yes informtion overflow is one the badest things that happen when you are hanging around too much in the download section ;)
my best advice is, take action! dont search for the magic formula or the super-duper-not-discovered-milking niche.

I too argree that newbies may get confused of too much informations and tips, tools and services here in this forum and can't decide how to do and what to do or which is the most conveniance method for him. So anyone who want to make money should choose the method he like and make himself a plan and keep up with it.

ok let me just add one thing, i am not doing this as a source of income, i do have a day job consulting for a bank and a working business where we do real programing work as well as a few products we are about to launch for the SEO community, i am going to be moving to costa rica in march and would like to start doing some of the whitehat and greyhat stuff that is either discussed in this forum or ideas that i have come up with and shared with some of you, i just find it frustrating that I do not settle for one thing because i just keep on coming back for more, initially to help out some of the less experienced members but then i notice that i just keep on reading post after post :-) At this rate i will have a post count of 3600 within 12 months of joining here and that is NOT what i want to do, maybe i should just auto-ban myself

Not to sound like your mother or anything (I must be getting old or something), just limit yourself to X amount of minutes on this forum per day to stay a little more productive.

For me, I had the same problem with reading a lot here, but if you checked the site say twice per day (once in the morning, once in the evening), you might find that you will get a little more done.

Just my two bits ;)

I am trying to limit myself, will i be the first case of BHW self abuse?:D

I am now in the stage where I play with money fluxes or forex to be exact.

I pay around $3,000 to outsourced any new ideas I have in my mind...by the end of the month I calculated everything and I am earning around $4,000 - $4,500, all fully out of my control and just talking to the cheaper parts of the world who do the job for me, weeding out the bad stuff they did yes that takes time, but if you experience it from ground zero, you know the walkthroughs and the holes that outsourced jobs can do for you so you won't get burned.

just my 2 cents.

it takes money to earn money, that's the real deal now really.
