"White sh*t" or does "white noise" / "Binaural Beats" really work?

Maybe I tried it too short? Maybe you have to keep the ear-plug in a whole night while'u sleep? ...or do I ever wake up again with "Deep Relaxation" in one ear and "Easy Sleep" in the other? ...maybe an easy way of getting rid of unliked spouses?

PS: attention: read the "Potential Health Warning" :D

PSII: "Positive Habit Reinforcement" ...sounds nice, maybe there's a "Positive Bank Balance" available?

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

I use a program called NeuroProgrammer - similar kinda technology but you can create your own programs with it. So if one is kinda working for you, but not quite, you can tweak it. You can also "mix" it with normal music so it's a lot easier to listen to

Their are many free beats to be found on the internet. Try them out before paying for anything.

It's like certain pills working for some and not for others. I use them all the time and they work great for a little relaxation.

"supposed to have the effect of weed" ...wow, then this is a very cheap alternative ! :)

@Pharoah: You use them all the time? Whatdo you use then? And is this what I mentioned above real stuff?

I made a study of this and used to write music that created specific binaural beats by combining different beat frequencies. The program that is supposed to make you stoned or whatever is a bit ropey but if you have a neuro-feedback device you can see how your brain falls into sync with the beats being emitted. It's a quick way of getting an effect like meditating without all the practice.

I've used this type of stuff to drop my brain waves into alpha and theta state... Now, I can do it without any crutches. But there's nothing like getting that head rock motion going on...

i-doser is the one claiming to give you a drug buzz from these audios.

You can find them as free like anything else you DL from here.
    Didn't do much for me.
BUT, I do have a light and sound machine that will put a rhino to sleepytime.
Also, the cd Sphynx of Imagination is Really good.
Listening to it always nocks me into dream land.
also free if you search for it

Another one which is Freeware is called SBaGen which is very interesting too.
It is a free version of iDoser.

Richard Bandler's stuff is supposed to be good too, but no effect for me.
Now,if I was at a live seminar I suspect he could have me cluckin like a chicken while I danced around the room flappin my arms :) and empty the buck out of my wallet in the process.
In the end every one is unique as for me the Centerpointe products did nothing.
I have many and tried for many weeks, zip zilch nada.

    Nighty Night :)

none of ur fr#$%ing biz dude!!!
    i-doser and the weed-like beats don't work.
But binaural beats with white noise do work for meditation.
The best out there is def from centrepointe (dot) c0m. Works like crazy when it resynchs both hemisphere of your brain.
Of course you can find it on the net for free.

I also shared a while back a script that worked with adobe audition to create your own white noise. These are much more powqerful when it's your own voice.

My white noise is a fan on high (3) power sitting right next to my head. Works great.
