This is essentially what I'm asking...how long does it take before you start seeing impressions after adding your website to Google's search console? My question is about brand new websites on brand new domains without any link building activity done prior to seeing the impressions.

New website, New domain, no backlink building - just publishing high quality content like the Income School guys. How long before you start seeing impressions in GSC?

It totally depend on your niche and the keywords you're targeting.

My best experience was with a blog where I posted only two articles, there was no competition at all, I ranked after two weeks and I started getting bunch of visitors. In other cases, it may take longer.

I'm asking about impressions, not visitors. Thanks for the reply though.

It depends on how long it takes for Google to start ranking your website on the first results of SERPs and, of course, on the keyword difficulty. Once you start ranking you will see how you start to get impressions and clicks.

You can track your rankings with a keyword tracking software, such as Rank Tracker, which has a free version.

Can take anywhere from 3-4 months if you're ranking high enough on high search volume keywords. :)

BS replies, 4 month my ASS..... you will get it in the FIRST week on a New website, New domain, no backlink building, but it's not more than 70 impressions in the first week!

Thanks. I was shocked at the number of BS replies I was getting. I started getting impressions today and received the "monitor your Google search traffic" email. The website is approximately 2 weeks old today.

Throwing my experience in here, it took my new site a little over a month to start getting impressions.

Depends on how Google is feeling (semi joking). I have Google News website which is just a couple of months old and has a DA of about 20. I published an article on it yesterday and within about 10 minutes It was indexed and I had about 20 people coming to the website organically in minutes (nothing from the news site). I thought I had it sorted until I looked on seroundtable which mentioned a possible Google update. Today, Google has moved on and I have had about three visitors from that article.

Basically it changes everyday and trying to baseline averages are just that 'averages' which can change from one day to the next for new sites. They are so volatile there is no easy answer apart from keep plodding on and play the long game

So many variations. With no backlinks it really comes down to the keywords you’re going after and how much content you’re putting out. You’ll probably start getting impressions within the first couple of months but it’s a long long time before you’re looking at meaningful numbers.

You can speed things up by going for low competition keywords or getting links. They’re are plenty of ways to get links that don’t involve blasting 2.0’s or PBN’s.

What kind of a question is this?
This has nothing to do with white hat.
Yeah right, if you publish a new website, on a new domain, have no backlinks,
just publishing high quality content like yeah, that's right, the Income School guys do,
and you submit your site to GSC, you might see impressions after just a few days.
The point being?

There's a ton of variables.
You might get impressions within a few hours, but that doesn't really mean anything unless you know where those impressions are coming from and if they hold any value.

I have a new website too.. it is 2 weeks old.. it got about 1.800 impression on google, and get about 41 clicks from google...

I post about 30 articles with low competition kw

Who knows? Question is v. vague...

How long is a piece of string?
