    Hi guys,

I would like to ask for advice.
I have website which is basically running 100% on autopilot and is generating some small money around $100+ month, mainly from organic traffic and AdSense. It's growing steadily but slowly. This site has potentional to last many years or even decades on auto-pilot.

I had to code lot of custom scripts for it tho.

Now the thing is I am really not that good with off-page SEO. I red lot of theory and reports during few years but never really practiced what I red. Had some positive success on another project with basic link building using Sick Submitter - few years ago but I bet it's pasé these days.

If I compare traffic estimation of my closest competition I should have space to grow at least ten times in term of organic traffic and hopefully revenue too.

Lot of keywords I'm ranking these days are mid to low competition with quite high volume search but quite a low cpc. I'm covering lot of these kws but usually on the bottom of the page 1 / top page 2

I believe my site is high-quality and can compare with top authority sites in it's field.

I would like to hire SEO professional, to help me to rank better.
I have three concerns regarding this decision:

    1) I am afraid of hiring someone whos work will be contra productive and actually results in decrease of traffic
    2) I am afraid someone will steal my concept and will try to rank stolen concept instead
    3) I am not sure if I can afford someone who can help me. I'm not sure if it will be WIN-WIN situation for both sides.

It is interesting to know about such a auto pilot website but you all 1,2,3 points you mentioned are risks to be taken to get to #1. However using some one with good reputation from BHW or some other good freelancer website should reduce the risk. People with good reputation are too busy to steal your idea and they work with many other interesting ideas daily

Working with fleelancers is always pretty risky, but good SEO professional is exactly what you need
