This may come out as a newb question but I would like to know which DB I should make sure my xrumer service provider uses to maximize the results I want.

My Goals: To increase rank on Google for specific keyword phrases.

I have had some success and some failures. The number of links and quality seems to be much when used with a DB that targets forums and not blogs. The blogs DB seems to provide far few indexed links and let link juice.

I am not sure how many different DBs there are but I have learned there are different DBs (or so I have been told).

Let me know if I have left out any important.

Well, the lists (DBs) that have come with the program have been overflowed with spam. You should use 'hrefer', the program that comes with xrumer. It makes link DBs off of words you give it.

So hrefer builds databases for use with xrumer based on keywords that can be put in. Is this often called "targeting" by the xrumer service providers?

Exactly. Href you can shave with the web in minutes thousands of forums, books, blogs, wikis, etc ... with only keywords related to your niche or segment and then explode with XRumer.

Using hrefer, you can analyze one of the five search engines (at your option). In addition, the program can sort the data collected by Page Rank. Seems all you need to create DB XRumer.
