Would it be better to have mainly informative content with cta boxes at the ends, which leads to the conversion page or the landing page..

Or make it so that every bit of content is pre-selling?

I had added some informational articles, and the heatmap plugin in wordpress shows that people are clicking the call to action box that I placed at the top of the article.

So considering that, would cta boxes coupled with informational content be a better option than the other alternative?

I think that if you show someone why they need something they will be more inclined to buy it as opposed to forcing them into buying it with strict "sales" content that barely gives any actionable info.

try to create more informative, unbiased content. Even if your visitors click the CTA close to the top of the page.

Yes, this would be a better option to place CTA. So, go with informative content and place CTA boxes.

I think you should focus on having informative content first, if you have that it will likely convince visitors to click the CTA button. You need to showcase trust in your pages.

    Don't mix the two.

Commercial pages, targeting buying keywords, with CTAS direct linking.

Then separate non commercial pages, targeting infomational keywords with no ads, no links, nothing.

This way your finely tuned commercial pages rank and convert great for buyers.

And the info pages provide content for users with no buying intent, they won't convert as no links and no intent but they show Google you have value beyond just trying to make money.

Also, info/guides will gain links far easier than sales/commercial pages. And you can always internal link to the commercial pages and get the juice.
