Any tool can tell me if an article is spun or if it's original?

    You could try using Copyscape.

You can find the article whether it is spun or unique by reading it, copyscape, smallseo tool and all these tools help you to find the article is plagiarism free.

Just read the article and you'll know if it's spun or not. Or if your English is really bad, ask someone you know who has good English to check it out.

As for finding out if the article is copied from somewhere else, all of the above tools are good, but I find that they don't always work perfectly. Smallseo plagiarism checker gives false matches when in fact the phrases it claims are found on the web, actually are not when you search on google. Copyscape doesn't find half of the articles that are online, I have no idea why, but that's a fact.

The best thing to do, as suggested above, would be to copy-paste certain fragments from the article into google and see if you get any matches. Again, this doesn't work well if only parts of the article are copied or if the article has been changed or rewritten.

Bottom line, there is no 100% sure way to check if you got a truly unique article or not!
