Building 2–3 strong BMs is great for long-term stability and consistent scaling, while using virtualized setups works well for faster testing and flexibility.
 
In my opinion, building and nurturing a strong BM is a long-term and superior strategy. It helped me safely navigate many of Facebook's storms.
 
I will operate 2-3 business model (BM) systems to focus on long-term scaling. You can still use virtualized clones, but having 2-3 solid models will give you more peace of mind.
