The IRS is going to love me here in a few week. I did not start a company in 2010 and will pay higher taxes.

What state did you domicile (start) your business in?

Many start it in DE for tax advantages.

All suggestions and input are appreciated. I need to get on this ASAP.

Yeah, if you live in either of those states that is a good pick...

Hopefully my accountant will have a better idea.

    Thanks.

When you Google Delaware corporations you get a list of websites that are either trying to sell Delaware incorporation packages or links to lawyers who sell Delaware incorporations. The benefits of a Delaware corporation have become nearly non-existent over time. Unless your state has some sort of onerous corporate requirements, why deal with a whole separate state government for your corporation? Florida has an annual report filing requirement (check a couple boxes, send them a check) and that's it. Others will have more or less. Remember: States lose when corporations go elsewhere. They are motivated for you to incorporate where you are.

    Good luck!

Tennessee has no state income tax. I know an Internet marketer/SEO that is moving there from Indiana.
