    Hi

I am really stuck on this, I have been trying to use tools , but the result I get is my website is not on Google top 100. If I go into google and input a keywords, how do I know if my website is already ranking for this website, I have taken the trial of market samurai also but this is not answering my queries.

And I think I need this query done all the time to get an idea for which keywords is my website ranking at least. I so have Seoquake installed on my laptop and I know how to read how many pages of my website has been indexed.

I can see that some people can easily detect that their website is on page 19 of Google, how do I do this, going through all the pages of google to find my website is too time consuming.

Is there any easy software that will do this for me, thanks

Use this to check up to 10 URLS/10 Keywords on each. It's a quick sign up:

    Code:
    http://www.whatsmyserp.com
If you're not sure what keywords you're ranking for, use the basic info here to get an idea:

    Code:
    http://www.spyfu.com

Or the free edition of CuteRank if you just have one domain to check.

Traffic Travis has a free version. I find it somewhat tedious to enter all the pages of each site and keywords for each one though.

Ideally I think you want to find one that stores the data so you can track your progress.

If you're open to a web-based app you can use http://serpscan.com . You can track 10 keywords for free.

no tool outside of the SE can tell you exactly what kw you rank for

ranking sw asks you what you think you rank for and then monitors it. it doesnt find it for you.

your best bet is to use google webmaster tools as they tell you what exactly you rank for

I used to use Marker Samurai - it was doing pretty good job on locating keyword position in Google, Bing and Yahoo. Plus I did not have to deal with google blocking my IP, unlike working with similar programs from other companies.
