Which side would you target, the businesses or the public?

I started a new venture and I hope to make money, but while chatting with my webdesign team they brought up some good points on who exactly I should target.

Target 1) Businesses that are selling something that is almost completely profitable with little to no loss involved. Should I sell these people leads so that their service can attract higher bids in which they receive slightly more money. Keep in mind, they are selling something that is pretty much free to them, and most of these businesses owners are lazy and these are usually side businesses. The idea in investing into a service that brings them people at the chance of receiving more money may not seem like a worthwhile investment, but it may. There are at least 10,000 of these businesses in the United States and Canada.

Target 2) People looking to find these businesses, and their hope is to go to these businesses at the chance of funding their own businesses and making some money themselves by profiting. These people typically do not have a lot of money based on demographics, but typically do keep enough money to haggle with Target 1. There are an estimated 100,000 of these people looking to seek a deal from Target 1.

If you want to make money by connecting the two, which one would you target and why?

Pick one and put 100% into it then move on to the next ...just focus as sharp as you can

In my experience you can charge a higher fee for service plus if you sell your services right you can get a monthly fee for ongoing assistance.

B2B all the way. I never totally understood how profitable and therefore pleasurable the Internet Marketing could be until i moved into selling to businesses. By and large businesses have money to burn, and their employees are usually pretty clueless. Explain to them the possibility of making money and they will throw money at you.
