My Link Building strategy is to pay blogs owner to include a link from my site in their blog post.

I know that it's not a good practice, but I think that is hard for Google to differentiate (Algorithmic or manually) whenever it is paid or not, because I will ask to include in the middle of the blog post, with context, and I will use branded anchor text.

There are 2 option for this:

    1) To pay the blog owner to create a new blog post with my link.
Pros: With the new blog post, as it will be in homepage for some days, I could get some traffic
Cons: Its more expensive then the option below. (The second option I can negotiate to get a lower price easier)

    2) Or, to pay the owner to put my link in an older blog post (1 or 2 years old blog post).
Pros: I can choose an old blog post that already have backlinks (so it can pass more juice) to include my link
Cons: I don't know if this is true, but I think that Google could give less weight for new links included in old posts

    Which option you choose?

There is no difference between a paid link or an unpaid link.

As for the other points - mix it up! Get links from new articles, get links from old articles... neither one nor the other is a perfect solution in isolation.

    Thanks for the response!

To tell the truth, I'm more like to put in an old blog post. It's cheaper, I can choose an old blog post with some backlinks...
But I'm only concerned about Google giving less weight with theses news links in old posts.

In your opinion, do you think Google give same or less weight?

Try getting a link on a page with page authority which is often times an older post.

your question has been already answered, nothing to worry because link is a link so try combining old with new.

As others suggested, Go with both the options.. Mixing up your links will come in handy at times.. All in all you will get traffic from older posts too if you pick the right ones.

But I'm sorry, if an old blog post has already been indexed by google, now insert a new link into the article, can google detect the new link and trust it as a link in the article? Is it natural to google eyes? Thanks,
