Which one of these laptops is better?

Go for the first one, the SSD drive is better :)

SSD doesn't matter for me, I will be getting a different capacity anyways than the ones listed here. I just care about the overall performance.

Well, it seems you already subconsciously made a choice. Perhaps there's a reason you listed the one before the other. And maybe the seemingly informed choices of the commenters have been influenced somehow by your 'choice'.

Not really, I just wrote them in a random order. Actually, the second choice was the one I was thinking to get before writing this article.

Is the price the same? Seems like the performance will be roughly similar between the two.

My 2013 Dell Latitude still works very well today (no gaming) but my second Dell had problems even with the cooler under him. Make more money with IM and you can get then one laptop for whatever you want, one PC desktop just for gaming and one workstation for bots ;):smirk::smirk:. Videocards are taking damage, maybe you'll search reballing on Google after 1 year :).
I already have 3 laptop's worth $6000
And I tried PC but it just sucks
Until and unless you do something which a laptop can't handle, then only go for a PC..
As I said, my laptop doesn't had any problems and I do gaming on it intensively..
Maybe it's just a specific only with your laptop, Dell sucks anyways..

Make sure to loosen the screws when you get it. I've had my MSI for 2 years, never opened it and when I needed to open it up to clean the fans a month ago...the screws were stuck

For me best laptop is Lenovo X1 Carbon. But is not good for gaming. And generally when i buy laptop i buy Lenovo because the keyboard is just amazing compared to other laptops.
If you want gaming, just buy a desktop PC for that. Laptops that are good for gaming dont have long battery life, plus gaming on a 15" screen is sucky. Just buy a PC and a 24"+ monitor for gaming.
