I'm looking at both too. I actually found a d/l for the R2B mass installer here and then found the owners manual after some searching on the net. I got it downloaded and it looked decent but I had some issues because I have to use a newer version of cpanel (X3) on my hostgator account which gives me issues with it. I'm probably going to pick up another shared account somewhere and give it another try.

I really like the looks of Blog Matrix and am probably close to buying it. The problem with it is that you can't set up sub-domains off the main domain account...only sub-FOLDERS. I pinged their support to confirm that. They were quick with a response and said that I was correct but that there's supposed to be a complete revamp of the product which included the ability to mass set up subdomains too. That was in June with expected launch in the next few weeks. Needless to say, I haven't seen anything yet. I bounce the support guy an email every couple weeks for a status check, maybe I'll bounce him one more today. Wish I had more "meat" to my reviews but that's all I have right now.

    I have tried both

    But I prefer blogslammer-why.

r2blogmi is server based and will build individual wp blogs. An will quickly melt your server. It is also complicated.

Blogmatix Pro is a nice theory-but its operated by a guy who sells websites for 100 usd a month. Cant remember name I was in for a few months. Sites never EVER ranked and were dropped by google in a few weeks. Forum is full of VERY unhappy people who basically wasted 100 a month. I have never seen any good reports about it and it was just too complicated.

So lets be honest about it. You want a LOT as in THOUSANDS of blogs across ips about a variety of subjects and wanna feed spun articles , links and affiliate stuff to them? Yes you do because the alternative is mess around with "wh" sites and watch google de index THEM too......its a numbers game.

On to Blogslammer it is PC based and builds on wp MU sites. Yours or others. So You COULD install wp MU (easy) in 100 of your domains and off you go. Or use other peoples or both. It is easy to use.

I am not an affiliate or an owner. Just a happy customer. If I was starting off with mass blogs now it would have to be blogslammer.

Save yourself a lot of money, wasted time and aggravation just get blogslammer and hammer away.

That's what the ping is for. Ping tells the services your blog has new content, the spiders like to watch the blog services.. You'll usually see SE spiders not long after a ping..

Thanx nicksor however i was just wondering that those blogs will rank much lower in search engine by merely pinging and doing seo requires too much work so what are these automated blogs worth for? Thanx

I use rss2blog, but if you use it on 1 process for more than 5 blogs it will f*ck up your system. Because it is remote poster it's better to use it on your own PC.

I used RSS2Blog and support for it started out great, but went downhill real fast. The author of the software is super nice girl named Michelle and I think the rapid changes to Blooger just killed her. The product ended up getting sold to a bunch of noobs and she just spent all her time telling them what a cron was.

I did bring a bunch of shared web servers to their knees with RSS2Blog as well. Ticked off some other webmasters.

I learned how the software works by myself.
I use it with wordpress. It's pretty easy.

RSS2Blog used to be the legendary blog generation software but not till the content farmer professional comes into picture though. CF has a lot more features... and as far as my research goes, haven't heard of unhappy customer yet...

I know this is an old thread, but figured that I'd comment anyway...

Thanks. This is great feedback. To be honest, I've pissed off a few people, but I maintain the software and do a lot to provide the best customer support that I can. Also, BHW members who've been around for >= 2 months or have 25 quality posts get a $100 discount (PM me for the code).

And, if you find anything you'd like CF to do, but it doesn't yet, please msg me b/c I need feedback on features to even have a clue that they're worthwhile to add.

It's worth pointing out that CF supports YouTube videos (as a content source), Google Translation, Affiliate data feeds (R2B owners have to buy a second product to add in support for these to R2B), and ... I just added in WP tag support (very basic right now, but by the end of the month it'll have full features).

Well, a non-shared server is probably what you're suggesting. I've seen places where R2B is actually banned. Nice thing is that I have yet to receive any reports or find any hosts which ban CF Pro.

I'd ContentFarmer Pro. The program is very professional and has a lot more features (posting to Joomla, Drupal, ...)
