I'm trying to find a good Rank Tracker and i've been so unhappy with all the ones i've found.

I need a good way to make pretty ranking graphs for clients.

    Here's what i've tried:

    Rank Checker by SEOBook
    - Nice but it doesn't appear to be multi-threaded and it only goes to 100 search depth

    Rank Tracker by Link Assistant
    - Not bad but they want a monthly fee to keep it updated and the export to csv module is not part of the first payment plan

    Traffic Travis
    - Pretty good but no graphing functions

    Market Samurai
    - Not bad but oh so slow when you have a hundred words to track

    WebCeo
    - Someone recommended this buy I haven't tried it cuz i'ts a bit pricey

Can someone please recommend a good Rank Tracker to record and print pretty graphs.

I use Market Samurai. Yes, it is very slow but I like all in one features.
I installed adobe Air 2 but there are no difference in speed. :(

Ya I always wondered whats the deal with Adobe Air?

Is there a trade-of? e.g. they sacrafise speed for compatability?

I spent all today playing with Traffic Travis, and can't seem to make any pretty graphs.

it doesnt seem to record historical trends....?

It actually goes to 200 and no, it's not threaded. It's the one I use though because it's an ok balance of speed and function. MS is pretty but I just cannot DEAL with the slow speed. :)

To make the charts I just have them set up in excel, run the report in rank checker and then copy/paste and the chart updates automatically. Easy.

I have experience using both Rank Tracker by Link Assistant and MS and I can say I love MS more. Beside its pretty interface, I do love all in one Software.

Maybe it's a bit slow, but I find Rank Tracker by LA is more slower in my laptop :)

Yes, it exports to .csv so it's really easy to just paste it into an excel template. Takes 2 seconds.

So are you saying you have lots of ROWS pasted in your excel sheet

    e.g. like this:

    5-5-2010 | 5-12-2010 | etc...
    12 | 11
    2 | 1
    1 | 2
    6 | 4
    22 | 20

yes. I just copy and paste the whole thing into excel and the chart is pre-formatted to only show the correct columns. it's very easy once you get it set up.

    Thanks

Ok I was able to make some decent graphs in excel using this method.

But CRAP I cannot believe i'm having so much trouble finding a good rank checker.

It is so hard to find on that is:
    • multi-threaded
    • fast programming performance
    • creates graphs
    • exports data
    • can go up to 500 words depth
Lots of the above-mentioned programs do 1 or more of these things. But like NONE of them do it all very well.

    man...

I might just write my own bloody program and sell it myself.

I think Authority Labs has everything you're looking for, but it's pricey. You'd probably need the highest package, which runs around $100 a month.

They were giving a 30 day free trial last time I looked, so you should check it out.

    Home Page:
Rankerizer results are not accurate as it checks with 100 results per page.

I use Seo Rank Reporter plugin for wordpress for free
