There are a million ways to make over $100 a day, but what do you think is the best type of site for generating long-term consistent income? Not one hit wonders.

I have domains that work with all 3 types, but developing them takes time and I'm on the fence which one I should pursue.

    1. News site (especially in celeb, gossip, entertainment)

One that comes to mind is KillerHipHop.com. Gets over 100K visitors a month and I'm sure a bulk of it comes from Google searches for lyrics. But still impressive considering it's only been around since 2009.

There are 2 main adsense image ads on the left and at the top. I'm sure it gets a good CTR, but how much would he make consistently every day?

    2. Authority site in a big market

For example, SolveYourProblem.com. Pretty good site packed full of highly useful personal development content. Covers a lot of topics - really anything to do with improving yourself. Also gets over 100K visitors a month.

The primary ads are the text ads I see at top that lead to Clickbank products, and he also has LP's that are presells for those as well. Lots of targeted traffic, but do you think he makes over $100+ a day?

    3. Niche specific site promoting one product.

There are a lot of sites out there following this model. Sending all the targeted traffic you can possibly get to a squeeze page and entice people to put in their name to get a free report to solve X problem.

After they opt-in, either send them to an affiliate product (Clickbank) or your own product. Then follow up with emails.

    ==========

Out of these 3, which would do you think is most profitable and best for long-term income?

All of them. It depends on how you approach them. Each will have its differences and each will be hard if you dont go targeted. But shit you can pull in a lot each day if you set your mind to it.

They all will work if they are worked.

I have a business blog with 6 separate business categories and one of the categories is Entertainment business. When Boston Rob was on the survivor TV show, I wrote about the types of things he does to make a living... the effing site went off the big time and I made some serious jack that day.

That's an easy site for me to grow because I like to write about business, employment, economy etc.

Which one of those kinds of sites interests you the most?

That is going to be your answer as long as you are willing to put in the work.

Niche is very important. One of my sites get 4K visitors a day and i make only 10 usd. I use all the money to pay for hosting. If the niche was a better one i'd be making a lot.

In my opinion, I would go with the authority sites.

I thought it over, and I'm gonna go with creating an authority site in a market with evergreen issues and build a list at the same time.

So if I create the very best site, not only will it still be useful to visitors 10 years down the road, it'll keep generating passive income without me touching it (assuming I have good rankings for many highly searched keywords). Think that'd be a much better investment of my time than a niche site.

Thanks for all your responses, much appreciated!
