Striking is one of the most popular theme after U-Design. I also create few website with it and it is very easy to use... So my vote is for Striking

Recently I made a site with Qreator. It is also very attractive. You can take a look at this

So, it's not really related to either of those two themes, but have you checked out elegant themes? You can use any of the themes they provide for about the same price as buying either of those.

I just didn't see anything on there that gave me a really professional impression. I mean they all looked nice, but I'm trying to find something that really catches your attention and looks professional.

Thats why I like the sliders on nevada and the social connect icons on the top, with the full screen layout. Which I didn't see anything like that, as eye catching on elegant themes. But maybe I looked over one.

BOTH very nice, but themeforests has two distinct advantages in my eyes.

1 specifically, its a RESPONSIVE theme
2 installation and training videos accompany their manuals and support forums (who's got time time to wade through support forum faq's when you can 'press play' and follow along, re-winding the video at your own pace if and/or when you get lost?)

mind you, it is a tough call because kaplan's striking theme is reckoned to be out-of-the-box mobile ready / functional (see 'quote' below) and has a nice portfolio of examples to show what can be achieved, including:

    Code:
    http://www.connectivewebdesign.com/
    Code:
    http://www.brightyellowdot.com/
    Code:
    http://www.calasstudio.com/
    Code:
    http://www.pureblissyoga.ca/
hmmmmm.... two of the above sites using this theme are for web design studios own sites and surely they'd be concerned about the mobile friendliness? perhaps im making a meal of it and maybe this theme is perfectly ok with mobile [IMG]

either way, they're both very good looking themes and whichever you choose, make sure you share it on here *wink wink*

Out of these two Nevada gets my vote. The other one is too bulky and looks cheap

Striking for selling a service or product (I use it :) ), Nevada for a blog or something more of a profile type site perhaps describing how your company works.

So, for your site, I would use Striking. Put your product on the forefront.

I like the second link better. Nevada looks good, but for some reasons I'm drawn to the second one.
