A Buddy and I can not decide which name is best for a possible social media startup website, we narrowed it down to 6 names, and are trying to keep track of the responses, so were using SurveyMonkey. If you could just click the box of the name you like the best, that would be great! Thats it.

    Choices: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QMBFBQT

Whichever you think is the best company name or your favorite.

    Thanks

Presumably you intend to get a .com?

If so, 3 of your options aren't even available

Bucketdays is the only one that even comes close to the remit. The rest are miles off.

Have you checked to see how many hundreds of websites with "Bucket" in the title there are trying to offer a similiar thing ? I would try and come at it from a completely different angle.

Bucket means death. Its acceptable gallows humour for old people facing the inevitable but to entice younger people you should be going for more dynamic, asperational themes.

Yeah I see your point. But what word association would be better? For names, like "GoalDays" "GoalChest", What did you have in mind?

Well for a start, if your site is going to be geared around creating and completing Bucket Lists, it would be better if the name contained Bucket List, rather than just Bucket.

BucketList is taken, we would have to use a more strung out longer name, like "BucketListMojo.com" or something. I dont think its good to get that long though....:(

We were also trying to be more original than the generic term. Kinda like Twitter is more original than QuickUpdates.com...but yeah.....just my thoughts

I don't like any of them because its too literal. You go with Bucket(something) and a dozen sites pop up with Bucketblahblah. My 2 cents: Brainstorm for something that gets people thinking of Bucket lists without actually saying it. Use one of those site name generators to prod your thinking. BTW I hope it will be something like Pinterest, very visual. If its mostly text it will be a snoozer. After Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr people got lazy.

Why not be more original about creating a bucket list website? Instead, create a Fucket list website where philanderers and harlots can go to create and share fucket lists and check people off of them. With the number of cheaters and serial-monogamous people in the world who want to publicly (or anonymously) share their carnal desires, I could see this becoming successful.

Bucketthat seems good but do you have to use the word bucket in the title? It's too literal and to be honest i find all the names difficult to remember. Like it doesn't stand out. Perhaps some more brainstorming. Good luck !

If you want to stay literal, have you tried the vowel-dropping hip startup-naming-scheme? BucketLst, BcktList, Bcktlst(lol)?
