I'm trying to decide between two niches and would appreciate any thoughts from more experienced people on which one sounds better.

    1) A niche, broadly in health.

    2) A niche, broadly in entertainment.

Guys plz let me knw soon .....

    Thanks in advance....

Which one do you think you can apply yourself best?

Also, which one interests you more.

You don't make any sense. Obviously english isn't your first language. Have you tried an indian internet marketing forum?

I'll just speak from experience in general. The only health niches I have been in have been monetized with adsense. Out of those The one's centered around a specific product category have converted best.

    Back Pain = Orthopedic Pillows

Others centered around an ailment but not a solution/product have not converted well at all.

    Just my 2 cents.

What Kalyken said is correct in his first post. If you choose a niche you are passionate about, you can build a good site with quality content which is an out come of your in-depth research in a niche what you love. Since you have knowledge on that topic, you most likely interact with your visitors and build a community around a website you own. Visitors see you as an expert in that area and follow your suggestion(that includes buying a product which you recommend). If you start list building also along with this, you can expect recurring income by promoting various other products via mail.

Choosing a profitable niche is something different. Even though you pick a niche which interest you more, that niche should have market value and it should be monetizable. Both niches what you mentioned have several sub-niches. Some are profitable and some are not. So you should do proper market and keyword research before choosing a niche...

pick one you like .. also depending on your experience you might find super saturated ent and health fields too much competition ... but if you can find your flippers and swim with the big fish the ent catagory has huge huge traffic and huge money ... HUGE .. its where the kings of cpm ads live .. they dont have to sell just show the ads and get paid ... and they show them by the millions per day .. but its sorta like aiming for the highest apple on the tree.. theres lotsa easy lower hanging fruit...

Pick the niche which you are most comfortable writing about, to ensure that you have a steady stream of content. It will be far easier to build and maintain a high-quality site if you are knowledgeable about the subject and can write about it with real passion. Strive for quality AND quantity (ie, regular updates), and the money will follow.

Ah, OK. In that case, I'd go for health. There are lots of CPA offers in the health category which you could tie in quite easily to specific topics.

If you can afford to outsource the contents why not go for both? I have this two niche (though Entertainment is local) and it convert well with adsense.

I totally agree. There is no place for that kind of prejudice on a forum like this. It's ridiculous - and it's refreshing to see that it's dealt with swiftly by mods & members alike.
