    Hello fellow BHW members,

I've finally become confident enough to take action after studying, learning, and experimenting all thanks to the amazing resources here at BHW.

I feel like I have a solid plan for setting up a local SEO service but I just can't seem to think of what companies really need/will pay for the service.

I live in a very popular area with a lot of luxury car dealerships, restaurants, jewelers, etc near me. Are those businesses good for selling SEO for? I don't know maybe it's just not clicking in my head...Let's say for example a car dealership, would they be interested in ranking for keywords such as "luxury car dealerships in (CITYNAME)" or "car dealerships in (CITYNAME)"

I am a bit confused as what is my 'selling point' when selling SEO packages. All advice and helpful posts are greatly appreciated.

I think food related services are a good choice, such as catering. Think of what services or products do you search on google in your city. For example if I need a car mechanic I usually ask to a friend or family if they know someone they trust, but if I'm looking for someone to serve a certain type of food for an event I may type that search in google

BTW, how are you planning to charge your clients? A fixed price or monthly fee?

I greatly appreciate all of the replies so far. Planning on putting these into action with a method I have in mind.

homey to be honest you should reconsider if you are asking us what you should sell your clients or even who to sell

its really simple, if they make more money than from you than what they are paying you then it works

if its some store thats already struggling and doesnt advertise at all, then dont bother.

doctors, dentists, plastic surgeons, pool cleaning services, mobile detailing, and so on. pick up a local pennysaver or discount style magazine and se whos paying for advertisements. try and find them in the search engines for keywords you would use to buy the service. if you dont find the call them and sell them.

I would suggest Real Estate agencies, Textile Industries, Interior Decorators. Additionally, Educational Institutions (Where Not just SEO, Best would be a complete Digital Marketing).

I would target any local business that has a website. If they have a website, they want to be found and that's where you fit in :)
