I'm going to be meeting with a possible client this week and they need SEO done for their site. For my own sites the SEO I typically do are article marketing, blog commenting, web2.0 sites, social bookmarking and achieve good results.

Now for a client which linking methods would be wise to use beside article marketing? Would it be OK to build Web2.0 sites on wordpress, blogger, etc. and have articles there that link back to clients site? What about High PR blog commenting? Any problems with doing a bit of social bookmarking?

Which would be considered your typical white seo and not fall into black hat area too much?

It's just like for your own site unless you're trying to rank their google places listing. Local listings are easier to rank for but google places is a whole other animal.

I agree with Jericho. Do it just like you do with your own site. You can set up web 2.0 sites like squidoo, wordpress and hubpages based around the keyword you are trying to rank for. "Dry cleaner in Miami" is much easier to rank for than "dry cleaner" so you should not have a problem getting it ranked when using these sites. You can use them to dominate the entire first page but make sure you charge them for the extra work and listings. :D
